I’m excited to be running for the position of Public School Trustee in Sherwood Park. Student success and quality education have been my passion for the last 38 years. I started my teaching career in a small private school in Leduc and then for 34 years, was a teacher in four different schools and then five different schools as an assistant principal and then principal all in Elk Island Public Schools. I retired in 2022 and am currently a facilitator with Concordia University mentoring student teachers.
As a trustee, I am committed to ensuring that your concerns and wishes are heard and considered in the educational decision-making process. I will keep you informed about our division’s work and the achievements we make together. Additionally, I will advocate to our provincial government for the necessary funding and resources to meet our community's needs. Your voice matters, and I am here to represent you effectively.
